| Ultimate heartthrobs Piolo Pascual
& Sam Milby with multi-talented performer Rica Peralejo at Oxnard Performing
Arts Center on April 23
Ultimate idol Piolo Pascual and former PBB
(Pinoy Big Brother) housemate (and current "Crush ng Bayan") Sam Milby will
join multi-talented host/singer/actress Rica Peralejo in a sure-fire hit
concert billed as "Spring Fever" to be held at the Oxcnard Performing
Arts Center on Sunday, April 23, 2006.
Considering the busy schedules between films,
television and other personal appearances in Manila, these hottest stars
will have their first L.A. concert together. DFE Entertainment and EB Productions
paved the way of clamoring fans for these talented and most sought after
ABS-CBN talents in one stage.
Piolo Pascual's durability and staying power
is unquestionable. Despite ugly rumors about his sexuality and now the allegedly
rift between the boyfriend of his perennial (and current hit drama soap series
"Sa Piling Mo") partner Judy Ann Santos, Piolo remains a true charismatic
Christian that he is, an individual who only aims to do good deeds among
people. To his blessings, work has never been the same, as he continues to
be the most celebrated dramatic actor of his time, winning accolades and
awards one after another.
Meanwhile, Sam Milby's phenomenal stardom
may have started from being a toothpaste commercial model, but his inclusion
in the highly-rated and controversial reality-based hit television show,
Pinoy Big Brother (the Philippine version of the same worldwide hit "Big
Brother"), jumpstarted his popularity. After getting evicted, most writers
thought it would be the end of his career, but Sam proved them wrong by hitting
it bigger in the John Lloyd Cruz-Bea Alonzo movie "Close to You." The young
charmer even shared certified box-office success and stellar billings from
his two co-stars, and was praised by his acting mettle. The winning smile
of the once-tagged "Close-Up Boy" continues to shine with the release of
his debut album, which included "Only You," the song also used in one of
ABS-CBN's Chinovela. Sam Milby proved that he is one of the most important
stars to grace his network's cable and has proven to all that he will always
be a certified crowd-drawer.
Rica Peralejo's achievements started as a
teen-star with love team roles, paired with Red Sternberg and Bojo Molina
in the original GMA 7 brat pack show TGIF (Thank God, It's Friday) until
she moved to ABS-CBN and shifted her career as a sexy star. She accepted
more daring roles and was regarded a young bold-star. But through the years,
she was able to transform back to her image as a dependable actress and an
effective host and comedian. A hot star with a humble heart, Rica Peralejo
is also one of the most lovable entertainers in Philippine show business
and is mostly in demand for concerts abroad.
