2008 FILIPINO IDOL - The Philippine-American Friendship Committee, Inc.
(PAFCOM), a Jersey City-based non-profit organization will conduct an
audition for this year's "2008 Filipino Idol" on Saturday, June 7, 2008
at 2 PM at Fiesta Grill, 819 West Side Avenue, Jersey City, NJ. Chairing
the event is Hector Magno, assisted by Helen Castillo, overall Vice Chair
for this year's Festival committee. To audition, participants must be 16
to 30 years old, must bring a minus one CD and perform in front of the judges.
Finalists will be selected to compete for the top $$$ prize at the Grand
Finals to be held on Sunday, June 29 at Philippine-American Friendship
Day, Exchange Place, Jersey City. Interested parties must submit an application
letter, stating name, age, address, e-mail, and telephone number. Mail
